I just a won a fourth edition copy on eBay (nostalgia purposes... I have the green cover one, but my high school library had the black cover, which I devoured twice, becoming a lifelong Lovecraft fan). Is yours a first edition? If it is (and you really want to get rid of it) I'm sure you'll pull in quite a pretty penny on eBay.
I still have my
The Horror in the Museum... w/Wilson cover. I bought it when I worked for Bob Weinberg (mentioned in my pulp article). I only wish I'd bitten the bullet and bought up the rest of the Arkham House first editions he had in 1985. Of course, what seems cheap now was prohibitively expensive then. I wish I could have afforded the copy of
Weird Tales Bob showed me back then. It contained my favorite Lovecraft story--"The Whisperer in the Darkness"--AND it was autographed by Lovecraft. Dang.
